This unique combination of technology and business experience provides him with a keen eye for Corporate Strategy, Business Development, and value creation for customers and stakeholders. Steven holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Arlington.
Jim McKenna, CPA, serves as the Vice President of Business Operations, having previously held the role of Director of Market Operations at the Distributed Energy Resources (DER) division of NRG Energy where he was responsible for all aspects of demand response and DER market participation. Prior to NRG, Jim worked at Deloitte & Touché for more than 8-years providing audit and advisory services to clients across a wide range of industries. Jim holds a bachelor’s degree from Canisius College.
As Vice President of Energy Management, Fazil oversees structuring, energy management, as well as the customer experience. Fazil has substantial experience optimizing customers' energy and distributed resources to reduce energy costs and increase energy resiliency. Prior to joining Palm Energy, Fazil led various functions and business units focused on distributed energy resources, energy supply management, demand side management, and energy IoT for NRG Energy, Inc. and Dominion Energy, Inc. Fazil holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University.
Jeffrey serves as Vice President, Strategic Business Partnerships. Jeffrey was instrumental in building the nation’s largest privately held Demand Response company, Energy Curtailment Specialists, which was acquired in 2013 by NRG Energy. Over his 15-years with the organization he served in several senior leadership roles across Operations, Sales, and Customer Service. Jeffrey holds a bachelor’s and master's degree from Canisius College.
Frank serves as Vice President, Partnership Development. He has been in the Energy and Energy Efficiency industry for nearly 30-years. He previously led sales organizations for Grainger, Tyco, Honeywell, Comverge/C-Power and NRG. With a background in building controls technology and executive leadership with two of the largest Curtailment Services Providers in North America, he brings his knowledge of the energy markets and direct sales leadership to the team.
